Bulsho Trust is an independent policy research and action institute that focuses on preventing violent conflict, building peace, and promoting sustainable development in the Horn of Africa. Bulsho Trust works with governments, international organizations civil society groups, private sector stakeholders and Somali diaspora leaders to attain its vision of building a more peaceful and prosperous Somalia.

Bulsho Trust achieves its vision by conducting research on thematic issues, producing independent policy analysis, conducting capacity building trainings, and engaging in direct action to affect change in collaboration with relevant strategic stakeholders.

This year’s thematic focus of the work of Bulsho Trust is Diaspora Diplomacy, what role can the Somali diaspora play as diplomatic actors to build meaningful regional and international partnerships for Somalia to help strengthen investments in security and bolster economic development in Somalia.
